What equipment will you be using?
In addition to the saxophones, I makes use of a high quality portable BOSE PA system This will be set to a level suitable for the venue and occasion. All electrical equipment has been PAT tested, and documentation related to this will be available on the day if required by the venue.
Where I’m needed to perform in a location where there’s no access to power, or if I need to move in/out of a location quickly (eg. a funeral service at a crematorium), I may instead use a small but good quality battery powered speaker system.
What will you need on the day
In order to set up the equipment safely I will need a performance area which is flat and dry, with access to electricity. Ideally, this area will be at least 2m square, with enough space for the guests to move around safely without knocking or tripping on any of the equipment.
If we’re still dealing with Corona Virus restrictions this space would need to be larger, with (at the time of writing this) at least 3m between myself and the nearest guests.
How do I book you for my event?
In the first instance you should contact me, either through the contact page, by phone or email, in order to discuss your requirements. The important information that will be required includes the location of the venue, type of event, date and time needed, and the length of performance required. This will allow an accurate quotation to be issued.
What happens next?
Once the date has been confirmed, and a fee agreed, a written contract will be emailed to you. This will need to be signed and returned, together with a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee to secure the booking. The remainder of the fee will be due no later that 7 days before the event.
What payment options are available?
The preferred method of payment of both the deposit and balance is by bank transfer, which is quick and easy. Cheques are also accepted, although a booking will not be secure until the funds have cleared, which takes an extra few days.
As an extra option, I can now also accept credit/debit card payments over the phone or online via a clickable invoice (sent on request). For face-to-face bookings (such as at wedding fairs, or where a booking is extended on the day), chip and pin card payment can also be made.
