I spent four years training at\u00a0Trinity College of Music<\/strong>, London, where I was awarded the\u00a0BMus (Hons)<\/strong>\u00a0degree and\u00a0FTCL<\/strong>\u00a0fellowship diploma in Saxophone performance. Whilst\u00a0there, I was very fortunate to be tutored by many highly regarded professional saxophonists, including\u00a0Gerard McChrystal<\/strong>,\u00a0Stan Sulzmann<\/strong>, and\u00a0Hale Hambleton<\/strong>. This provided me with an extensive education in a wide range of saxophone playing styles, from classical and orchestral playing, saxophone ensembles, right through to Big Band jazz, working with many famous jazz soloists for events throughout the South of England and mainland Europe.<\/p>\n

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to perform in a huge variety of venues, including small parties, churches, pubs, jazz clubs, concert halls, and even the state ballroom in Buckingham Palace!<\/p>\n

A few years after graduating I moved back to Yorkshire, where I now spend most of my time as a professional musician. I can often be found performing background music at weddings and other special events, as well as in many groups, including the\u00a0Yorkshire Oompah Band<\/a>, theatre pit orchestras all over Yorkshire, and other ensembles on a freelance basis.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
